East Side Fiber Expansion

The City of Aurora is seeking qualified companies to furnish and install approximately 119,584ft of 864ct ribbon OSP Fiber Optic Cable utilizing the 3rd duct of the existing City fiber optic ring network. The project includes handhole and fiber enclosure installation, fiber cable preparation, splicing, and testing, existing handhole replacement and system upgrades, lateral fiber connections, and coordination and field verification. The selected proposer will be required to execute a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to receiving access to additional project information. The project is expected to last for 180 days. • The City of Aurora is seeking a qualified company to perform the East Side Fiber Expansion Project. • The project includes the installation of fiber optic cable and related equipment. • The selected proposer will be required to provide a detailed design methodology and commit to delivering stamped engineering drawings. • The project requires the proposer to have experience with federally funded projects and to provide a detailed price proposal aligned to a bill of quantities (BOQ). • The City of Aurora reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any technicalities and irregularities in the proposals.
