Medical Supplies for Emergency Medical Services

The City of Omaha is seeking a qualified vendor to provide medical supplies for emergency medical services. The vendor will be required to assume responsibility for all contractual services offered in this proposal. The agreement will be for a period of one year, with the option to extend for up to four separate one-year terms. The vendor must be able to provide a wide range of medical supplies, including pharmaceuticals, and must have the ability to set up evaluations to review usage and spending. The vendor must also provide in-service training for all shifts at the Omaha Fire Department and must be certified on product. • The vendor must have a FDA and ISO certified kitting facility • The vendor must have the ability to supply full company information • The vendor must have the ability to set up evaluations to be in the format of quarterly meeting/business review to review OFD spend, usage, shipping fill rates, etc. • The vendor must have online website designed specifically for service (advanced user interface) • The vendor must have electronic requisition purchasing to facilitate multiple user-order interfaces • The vendor must have Emergency Disaster Support Program • The vendor must have 24x7 ecommerce ordering • The vendor must have Grants Assistance program • The vendor must provide in service training with manufacturer rep • The vendor must provide product training for OFD - From the product manufacturers in person or virtually • The vendor must have multiple distribution centers to ensure critical supplies during disasters • The vendor must have product installed by a local manufacturer representative • The vendor must have references from other customers with similar projects/bids that have been awarded to BTM • The vendor must have specified delivery times based on assigned distribution center • The vendor must be VAWD certified (Verified Accredited Wholesale Distributor) • The vendor must have Code of Conduct policy in place • The vendor must attend quarterly/monthly/etc. Department EMS committee meetings • The vendor must be an established national wholesale distributor of EMS equipment and supplies • The vendor shall establish a separate online/web user account for each customer location and any other users as designated by FD • The vendor shall have the ability to receive orders electronically via a web site • The vendor shall provide electronic ordering for Schedule 4 and 2 Narcotics • The vendor shall pay for annual renewal licenses for Operative IQ Modules (Approximately 18,000 per year)
