One New 2026 Landfill Loader

The City of Douglas is seeking bids for one new 2026 landfill loader. The loader will be used for loading refuse into trailers for transport to the Casper landfill. The bid specifications include a Tier 4 Final diesel engine, high lift arms, extended hydraulic connections, and a cold start package. The loader must meet or exceed the specified minimum requirements. The bid documents and specifications can be obtained from the City of Douglas website or by contacting the City Clerk. • The loader must have a minimum 150-amp alternator and a fuel system with a minimum of 1 fuel filter and a water separator. • The loader must have a Tier 4 Final diesel engine and a planetary type power shift transmission. • The loader must have a minimum of 4 forward and 3 reverse speeds and be equipped with a limited slip rear differential. • The loader must have a center point articulation and at least 84-degree total articulation. • The loader must have a steering circuit that is pilot operated, closed center, and load sensing. • The loader must have a parking brake and wet disc full hydraulic brakes. • The loader must have a radiator with a single plane design and all cores mounted to the rear of the machine. • The loader must have a minimum of 116 deg. F. ambient capability and a cooling system capacity of at least 18 gallons.
