Court St River Crossing Water Main Replacement Project

The City of Keene is seeking a qualified engineering firm to provide professional design services for the Court St River Crossing Water Main Replacement Project. The project involves replacing an aging 10-inch cast iron water main with a new 12-inch high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe, including a horizontal directional drilling (HDD) crossing beneath the Ashuelot River. The selected consultant will be responsible for developing a detailed scope of work, conducting public engagement, and providing preliminary engineering and design services. Key aspects of the project include: • Replacing approximately 5,000 linear feet of water main • Installing a new 12-inch HDPE pipe using conventional open-cut trenching methods • Crossing the Ashuelot River using non-dig technology • Conducting environmental documentation and obtaining necessary permits • Providing construction administration and technical consultation during the construction phase
