MoDOT Statewide - Lease Tractors

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is seeking bids from qualified organizations to provide tractors for lease. The contract period will commence on October 1, 2026, and end on September 30, 2029, with the option to extend for up to two one-year periods. The tractors must meet specific minimum specifications, including a liquid-cooled diesel engine, hydrostat or CVT transmission, and a live 540/1000 RPM PTO. The vendor will be responsible for maintaining the tractors and replacing any defective parts. Key requirements include: • Liquid-cooled diesel engine with 86-145 PTO hp • Transmission with hydrostat, CVT, or 8 synchronized forward gears • Live 540/1000 RPM PTO • Full cab with air conditioning and AM/FM radio • Super deluxe heavy-duty industrial seat • Wet disk brakes with foot pedals • Category II hitch with factory-installed stabilizers • Power assist steering • 4WD with front fenders • Live hydraulics with three double-acting auxiliary valves • SAE Class 1 amber LED beacon • Standard front weight bracket with a minimum of 300 lbs. of weights • Tires with at least 2/3 tread remaining, no fluid-filled tires • Standard manufacturer's color MoDOT will receive bids electronically through MissouriBUYS MOVERS or by mail. If you intend to submit a hard copy bid, you must notify the buyer of record, Ashten Nichols, five days before the solicitation closing date.
