Detroit Supply Schedule #1 Grounds Services

The City of Detroit is seeking qualified contractors to provide grounds services, including maintenance, management, and operation of City properties. The contract will be for a period of five years, with an option to extend for an additional five years. The contract is estimated to have a total value of $123,437,500.00 over the five-year period. The successful contractor will be required to provide a range of services, including mowing, landscaping, tree and shrub removal, and snow and ice removal. • The contractor must have a minimum of two years of municipal experience in providing the services described under this schedule. • The contractor must have adequate financial resources to perform the contract. • The contractor must have a valid driver's license and a Commercial Pesticide Applicator’s license. • The contractor must have liability insurance with a combined single limit of $1,000,000.00 per occurrence. The City of Detroit encourages all eligible businesses to submit a proposal in response to this RFQ.
