Transcription Services

The State of Arkansas, Office of State Procurement, is seeking a contractor to provide transcription services for approximately 40,000-56,000 interviews annually. The contractor will be required to provide accurate verbatim transcriptions, with a two error-per-page average, and adhere to specific formatting requirements. The contractor must also provide a secure web-based platform for uploading audio files and downloading completed transcripts. The contract will be for a term of one year, with the possibility of renewal for up to six additional one-year terms. Key requirements include: • Five years of experience in law enforcement transcription • Registration to do business in the State of Arkansas • Ability to provide accurate verbatim transcriptions with a two error-per-page average • Provision of a secure web-based platform for uploading audio files and downloading completed transcripts • Compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and security requirements, including the Arkansas Personal Information Protection Act and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
