NOTICE OF INTENT TO SINGLE SOURCE SKYBASE COMMUNICATIONS LLC

The Collier County Procurement Services Division intends to designate Skybase Communications LLC as a single source for satellite-based phone communications with push-to-talk capability. The contract period is from 07/23/2026 to 07/22/2031. Skybase Communications is the sole supplier of the FloridaSatNet network, which has exclusive emergency channels. The primary channel is monitored by the Florida Watch Office. • The Notice of Intent to Designate Single Source is not a request for pricing or a commitment to purchase. • Respondents who disagree with the proposed single source designation must submit a written explanation and documentation showing that there are other qualified sources for the identified services. • All responses will be reviewed by the Procurement Services Division and the Division requesting the product or service. • The Procurement Services Division staff is the only authorized contact for inquiring or responding to this notice.
