Mental Health Peer Patient Representatives

The State of Vermont’s Department of Mental Health (DMH) is seeking one or more contractors to provide Peer Patient Representative services in state‑run psychiatric and residential treatment facilities. The contractors will recruit, hire, train, and supervise peer support providers who will advocate for patients, educate them on rights, attend treatment planning meetings, and deliver individual or group peer‑support sessions. Contracts are for an initial one‑year term with up‑to‑four optional one‑year renewals, and the work will commence in fall 2026.
