Unit 5 Annual Sulfuric Acid Supply

The City of Lakeland is seeking bidders to provide a guaranteed supply of 93% Sulfuric Acid suitable for the Unit 5 Cooling Tower at the McIntosh Power Plant. The acid will be delivered to a 5,500 gallon storage vessel at the facility. The contract will be for one year with an option for four one-year renewals upon mutual consent. The bid prices must be made in accordance with the specification attachment of this ITB titled "Annual Sulfuric Acid Supply Spec 2026". • The bidder must provide a certificate of existing insurance coverage as proof of insurability. • The bidder must comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations related to safety and health. • The bidder must provide a hold harmless indemnification agreement. • The bidder must provide documentation of all required safety training for employees. • The bidder must comply with the City's safety requirements and regulations.
