Notice of Intent to Solicit Only One Source -------- Rio Grande Valley Communications Group

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs (ICE) Office of Acquisition Management (OAQ), intends to solicit from a single source under the authority of FAR 12.102(a) to Rio Grande Valley Communications Group (RGVCG) for public safety radio network services. The procurement is being conducted under RFO Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services. The Contracting Officer has determined that only one source is available based on the capabilities of the radio infrastructure of the RGVCG. • The radio infrastructure of the RGVCG was established as a region-wide public safety radio network, operating under shared standards, allowing for communications interoperability between contracted entities. • The notice is for information purposes only and is not a request for quotation. • Interested parties who have the capability of providing same/similar services to the Rio Grande Valley area may submit a capabilities statement for consideration. • Any responses to this notice shall be received no later than August 17, 2026, at 8:00am (EST).
