The City of Sacramento is seeking a consultant to provide services aimed at enhancing community violence reduction efforts and developing comprehensive public safety strategies. The selected consultant will be expected to conduct thorough assessments, develop actionable plans, improve data utilization, and strengthen communication strategies to address community violence effectively. The primary goals of this project are to gain a comprehensive understanding of the current state of community violence and prevention efforts in Sacramento, identify strengths, weaknesses, gaps, and redundancies within existing programs, develop robust and data-driven recommendations, enhance the city's capacity to track and share progress, and develop an asset-based communication strategy.
