Department of the Air Force Program Business and Enterprise Systems (BES) Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO)

The Department of the Air Force is seeking innovative commercial solutions to enhance its business and enterprise systems. The Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) is a competitive solicitation that aims to acquire commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) IT and business solutions to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance Air Force capabilities. The CSO is open to all interested parties, including traditional and non-traditional defense contractors, large and small businesses, and research institutions. • The CSO focuses on several areas, including agile methodology, integration, scalability, security, automation, reporting and analytics, compliance, support, artificial intelligence, and reduced cost of ownership. • The solicitation seeks solutions that can provide innovative, unique, and previously under-utilized capabilities for government application. • The CSO is a multi-year process, and specific opportunities will be announced through individual Calls, which will be published as needed until 2 March 2030. • Awards may take the form of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) based contracts or Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs) under 10 U.S.C. § 2371b.
