Air Force - Small UAS & Asymmetric Capabilities - Commercial Solutions Opening

The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Special Operations and ISR Directorate is issuing a 12‑month Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) to capture innovative commercial technologies for small unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and asymmetric capabilities. The CSO will be used to issue individual “Problem Statement Calls” that request solution briefs, followed by optional pitch sessions and full proposals. Awards may be made under FAR Part 12 or Other Transaction Authority, with potential for prototype OTAs, follow‑on production contracts, and up to 24‑month performance periods. No funding is currently obligated; the government will review the CSO annually and may renew it. Interested vendors must be registered in SAM and possess a DUNS number. • Open until 3 Sept 2027 (renewable annually) • Covers UAS, AI/ML, autonomy, swarming, sensor fusion, digital engineering, software development, rapid prototyping, and related ISR/strike capabilities • Three‑phase process: Solution Brief → Pitch (optional) → Full Proposal (if selected) • Awards may be FAR‑based contracts or OTAs; prototype projects limited to ~24 months • Companies must submit electronically via the email address listed in each Problem Statement Call • No funding guaranteed; government will award only if resources become available
