Lafayette Housing Authority RFQ - Master Developer Partner for Irene Street & Maintenance Shop Redevelopment

The Lafayette Housing Authority is seeking a qualified Master Developer Partner (MDP) to lead the combined redevelopment of the Irene Street public housing community and the Authority’s Maintenance Shop site. The MDP will be responsible for overall project leadership, including planning, financing, design, construction management, resident engagement, and delivery of a mixed‑income, neighborhood‑sensitive housing solution that preserves and expands affordable units. This qualifications‑based procurement will evaluate experience, team capability, financing capacity, and ability to create a feasible development plan aligned with LHA objectives. • Lead the full development cycle for two sites (1101 Irene Street and 801 Gilman Road) – from concept through construction and occupancy. • Demonstrate proven experience in public‑housing redevelopment, mixed‑income projects, and securing financing for large‑scale community development. • Provide detailed resident‑centered implementation strategies, team organization, and realistic schedules to meet LHA goals. • Submit qualifications, team resumes, financial capacity statements, and a conceptual redevelopment approach as part of the RFQ response. • Participate in any interview or presentation requests by LHA during the evaluation phase.
