The Santa Clara Valley Water District is seeking a qualified firm to provide comprehensive industrial‑hygiene consulting, monitoring, sampling, analysis, reporting, and training services for its water‑treatment facilities, construction sites, and related projects. The contractor must hold a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) credential, comply with Cal/OSHA, OSHA, and EPA regulations, and be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations. The contract is a two‑year base term with up to three one‑year options, and all work will be performed under prevailing‑wage requirements. • Conduct air‑monitoring, exposure assessments, hazardous‑material (lead, asbestos) surveys, and on‑site oversight for construction/maintenance activities. • Deliver technical reports, regulatory compliance guidance, and training to Valley Water staff, ensuring alignment with federal, state, and local health standards. • Provide on‑call support, emergency response, and optional services such as incident investigations and agency liaison during inspections. • Meet extensive contractual obligations including insurance, DIR registration, labor‑code compliance, and submission of numerous required forms (cost proposal, references, SBOP affidavit, LBE certification, etc.). • Maintain a 180‑day proposal validity period and adhere to strict deadlines for pre‑bid conference, Q&A submission, and electronic proposal upload.
