Pension Plan Investment Financial Institution & Advisory Services

The Employees’ Retirement and Benefit Fund of the City of Morgantown, WV is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to provide investment financial institution and investment advisory services for the Fund. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing strategic investment advice, reviewing and overseeing the selection and performance of retirement plan fund offerings, monitoring investment allocations, and ensuring fiduciary reporting and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The initial term of the contract will be for two years, with the option to renew for up to three additional one-year periods. The Fund has approximately $91,600,000 in assets and serves around 270 active members and 200 retirees and beneficiaries. • The vendor should have experience working with defined benefit retirement plans similar in size and structure to the Fund. • The vendor should be able to provide comprehensive services, including investment advisory services, fiduciary support, and compliance expertise. • The vendor should have a strong track record of maximizing long-term investment returns, mitigating financial and operational risks, and minimizing investment management and administrative fees. • The vendor should be able to demonstrate expertise in areas such as actuarial coordination, funding strategies, fiduciary oversight, and regulatory compliance. • The vendor should be able to provide transparent and clear fee structures, as well as a detailed schedule of services and fees.
