The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from potential sources to provide medical grade specialty gases for the Portland VA Health Care System Research Service. The contractor will be required to deliver gases on a weekly basis, twice a week, to various locations within the Portland VA campus. The contractor must also be able to handle specialty orders, emergency orders, and provide delivery within 24 hours of request. The contract is expected to be a firm-fixed price contract with a five-year period of performance. The contractor will be evaluated based on their ability to meet the performance standards outlined in the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan. Some key features of the contract include: • Delivering medical grade specialty gases to various locations within the Portland VA campus • Handling specialty orders and emergency orders • Providing delivery within 24 hours of request • Meeting the performance standards outlined in the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan • Complying with all security requirements and obtaining VA-issued PIV badges for employees • Conducting annual tank inventories and providing monthly invoices
