Auctioneer - Re-Solicit

The Board of County Commissioners of Escambia County, Florida is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide auctioneer services for the sale of heavy equipment, fire trucks, ambulances, vehicles, and other items. The successful bidder will be required to conduct auctions and provide services to maximize auction proceeds for the County. The contract term will be for 36 months with the option to renew for two additional 12-month periods. • The County anticipates using the auctioneer's services 5-10 times a year. • The auctioneer must be licensed and insured to conduct auctions. • The auctioneer must have at least 5 years of experience. • The auction location must be within 200 miles of Escambia County, Florida. • The auctioneer must provide a marketing strategy to attract participants. • The auctioneer must describe how auction proceeds will be transferred to the County.
