The U.S. Army Watervliet Arsenal is seeking quotations for the manufacture of 77 rough‑machined breech‑block forgings (105 mm M20) to be produced in accordance with Drawing # 12591138 Rev B, including all required contract data and inspection documentation. The contract will be a single‑award, firm‑fixed‑price procurement with mandatory first‑article destructive testing and 100 % inspection, and will require compliance with numerous military, ASME, ASTM, and SAE standards as well as export‑control and cybersecurity provisions.
• Scope: Produce 77 steel breech‑block forgings (rough‑machined) and deliver with complete DD Form 1423 data package.
• Technical: First‑article tensile/Charpy testing per MIL‑S‑46172, 100 % inspection, MPI, and detailed CDRL submissions via WAWF.
• Timeline: Quote due 4 Nov 2026; first‑article test report required ≤ 120 days after award; production deliveries within 60‑150 days thereafter.
