Notice of Intent to Sole Source: Testforce TF300 DOD ATG and TF300 DOD ATG ILS

The United States Air Force intends to award a firm-fixed-price sole-source contract to Testforce USA Inc. for the procurement of Testforce TF-300 DoD Automated Test Generator (ATG) for Instrument Landing Systems (ILS). The contract includes the test system, proprietary software/procedures, and the associated hardware interface kit. The justification for sole source is that Testforce is the only entity that can meet the Government's requirement due to its proprietary software and procedures, unique hardware interface kit, and system integration and standardization. • The contract has an estimated value of $70,000. • The procurement requires a specific hardware kit containing proprietary cables and adapters necessary to interface the test set with the Air Force's CM300/350 and URC-300 radios. • The system is the approved and standardized solution for replacing 8 to 12 obsolete instruments with a single integrated test solution. • Capability statements must provide clear and convincing evidence of the vendor's ability to provide a solution that is 100% compatible with existing Air Force airfield navigational systems.
