Supplemental Speech Language Therapy Services

The Colonial School District is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide supplemental speech language therapy services. The successful vendor will be responsible for assessing students, generating and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), administering assessments, and collecting and interpreting data to modify instruction and guide therapy. The vendor will also be required to collaborate with IEP teams, write evaluation reports, and maintain accurate case records. The contract period will be from August 4, 2025, to August 3, 2028, with an option to renew for subsequent full years. The district reserves the right to award this contract to more than one vendor. Key considerations for award include cost, ability to service a broad range of student circumstances, and experience. • The vendor must have a current State of Delaware Speech and Language Hearing License and a Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology. • The vendor must demonstrate sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic diversity. • The vendor must provide evidence of a criminal background check or current employment in the CSD or another Delaware public school district. • The vendor must submit a budget that includes cost for services and the optimal number of students the vendor has capacity to serve. • The vendor must specify one hourly rate for all services, including evaluation, screening, planning, individual and group therapy, consultation, report preparation, routine record keeping, meetings, and travel between locations.
