Description
This grant supports Iowa school districts in expanding and strengthening the pipeline of educators qualified to design, coordinate, and supervise Work‑Based Learning (WBL) programs. Funds may be used for professional development, credentialing coursework, and related support activities that increase the number of teachers holding WBL‑related endorsements or authorizations. Priority is given to districts with low WBL participation rates (≤20%) and those that present concrete, sustainable expansion strategies.
• Eligible expenses include PD workshops, endorsement courses (Multi‑occupations, Work Experience Coordinator, WBL Supervisor), and related training materials.
• Applicants must submit a competitive application through IowaGrants.gov by June 30, 2026.
• The program is recurring annually, encouraging districts to apply each year if they meet the priority criteria.
