Engineering Services for Bridge Replacement

The Town of Randolph is seeking engineering services for a bridge replacement on North Randolph Road. The July 2023 storm destroyed a 100-year-old bridge, and the Town is looking for a provider to perform the required hydraulic study, prepare conceptual plans, identify and assist with any State and/or Federal permitting required, and create a project schedule. The selected services provider will be responsible for verifying all dimensions in the field. • The destroyed bridge had a maximum span of 28 feet and a structure length of 32 feet. • Average daily traffic is 100. • The bridge is an important connector for residents of East Randolph and the surrounding valley. • The Town placed a temporary bridge to safely enable its continued use. • State approval to work in the water will be required. • The work is being funded by a mixture of sources, with the Town primarily responsible for initial funding.
