Informal Request for Proposal 726DVR7533 - Vending Machine Services, Ketchikan

The Department of Labor, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, Business Enterprise Program (BEP) is seeking contractors to provide vending machine services in buildings owned, leased, or occupied by the state or federal government in the Ketchikan area. The contractor will be responsible for installing and maintaining vending machines, collecting commissions, and providing refunds to customers. The contract will be for a period of 365 days, with four one-year renewal options. The contractor must have at least three years of experience providing vending machine services and must comply with all applicable laws and regulations. • The contractor will be required to provide a transition plan to ensure a smooth transition of vending services. • The contractor will be responsible for installing and maintaining vending machines that accept dollar bills, dollar coins, and are Digital Exchange (DEX) compatible. • The contractor will be required to pay commissions to the BEP based on a percentage of gross sales. • The contractor will be responsible for providing refunds to customers who have lost money in the vending machines or have purchased defective merchandise.
