Snow Package for Single Axle Cab & Chassis

The City of Muscatine is seeking bids for a snow package for a single axle cab and chassis. The package includes a dump body and hydraulic hoist, a new two-way snow plow and truck-mounted hitch, a salt spreader, and a wing plow. The dump body must have a 6-7 cubic yard capacity, and the snow plow must have a minimum 42" moldboard height. The salt spreader must have a minimum 2-year warranty and be made of 201 stainless steel. The wing plow must have a minimum 27" heel to toe length and be made of 10 gauge curved moldboard. • The dump body and hydraulic hoist must be compatible with a 41,000 lb. GVW truck. • The snow plow must have a trip cutting edge and a cushion valve to protect the angle cylinders. • The salt spreader must have a pre-wetting system and a variable displacement orifice. • The wing plow must have a double acting cylinder for direct lift of the heel and toe.
