The County seeks a qualified professional to serve as Clerk of the Works (Owner’s Representative) for a multi‑phase judicial building renovation. The role involves on‑site construction monitoring, quality control, progress reporting, coordination with architects, engineers, and contractors, and post‑completion support for up to a year. This is a contractual, hourly‑rate position lasting roughly 20 months, beginning with construction start in August 2024. • Monitor daily construction activities, ensure compliance with contract documents, and report non‑conforming work. • Attend weekly/bi‑weekly County Commission meetings, prepare written progress reports, and assist with reviewing shop drawings, testing invoices, and payment applications. • Maintain comprehensive site records, log books, and provide final inspection assistance; may be called upon for up to 12 months after project completion.
