Home Furnishings for Program Participants

The City of Long Beach is seeking a vendor to provide home furnishings to participants in their low-income and homeless programs. The ideal vendor would be able to process orders accurately and in a timely manner, have local warehouses to fulfill orders within five business days, and have outstanding communication skills. The contract will be for a period of two years with the option to renew for three additional one-year periods. The City is looking for a vendor that can provide a wide range of home furnishings, including bedroom furniture, kitchen/dining room furniture, living room furniture, and bathroom items. • The vendor should be able to deliver goods to various locations within five to ten business days. • The vendor should have an online ordering system to reduce confusion and miscommunication. • The vendor should be able to provide proof of payment of any subcontractors used for this project. • The vendor should have experience in providing similar services to low-income and homeless programs.
