Description
The Iowa Economic Development Authority is offering $40 million in CDBG‑DR funds for new rental and single‑family housing construction in designated disaster‑impacted counties. The program supports development of rental units (≤ 80 % AMI) and single‑family homes with associated home‑buyer assistance, emphasizing resilience, mitigation, and compliance with the National Green Building Standard. Eligible applicants are units of general local government (UGLGs) or tribal entities that partner with a qualified developer. Funding includes construction incentives, mitigation incentives, infrastructure support, and, for single‑family projects, home‑buyer assistance.
