The County of Camden seeks a qualified engineering firm to provide complete professional civil‑engineering design services for a major arterial improvement on Broadway (CR‑551) in Camden City, covering a 2.57‑mile stretch from Cooper Street to Atlantic Avenue. The scope includes field surveys, roadway base plans, storm‑water management, traffic‑signal upgrades at six intersections, streetscape upgrades, utility coordination, and full 60 % and 100 % construction‑ready design packages, plus support during the construction bidding phase. The project is funded by an $8 M NJDOT grant, but the design fee will be negotiated; the contract will be awarded under non‑bidding statutory authority.
