Warren W. Fane, Inc., as the awarded prime contractor for the City of Troy Lead Service Line Replacement Project – Phase 2, Contract 2.2, is actively soliciting participation from qualified and certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) for subcontracting and material/supply opportunities associated with this project.
The project is funded in part through the New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation (NYS EFC) Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) and is subject to a 20% DBE fair-share objective.
Potential opportunities include, but are not limited to:
Water service and utility-related materials and supplies
Copper pipe, fittings and appurtenances
Concrete
Pavement restoration and asphalt work
Traffic control devices
Erosion and sediment control
Landscaping, loaming and seeding
Water-service work
Construction supplies and miscellaneous materials/services related to the project
The work generally consists of public- and private-side lead service line replacement, excavation, trenching, backfilling, pavement restoration, water-service connections and associated site work throughout the City of Troy. The bid schedule specifically includes public- and private-side service replacements, copper pipe, potholes, crushed stone, common fill, concrete and stamped asphalt.
This solicitation is being issued post-award as part of Warren W. Fane, Inc.'s continuing good-faith efforts to identify and utilize qualified DBE subcontractors and suppliers throughout performance of the contract.
