The VA is seeking a qualified pest‑control provider to deliver a comprehensive Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program for the Iowa City VA Health Care System. The contract is a firm‑fixed‑price, 12‑month base year with up to four one‑year options, covering all buildings, grounds, and tunnels on the campus. Services include routine IPM inspections, bed‑bug detection using certified canines, heat‑treatment, rodent control, insect light traps, bird/vertebrate humane removal, drain treatment, and perimeter pesticide applications, all performed in compliance with federal, state, and VA regulations. Detailed reporting, logs, and a quality‑control plan are required. • Provide monthly IPM inspections, pest‑prevention recommendations, and targeted pesticide applications. • Conduct bed‑bug detection with certified dogs (12 monthly, plus up to 6 on‑demand inspections) and up to two heat‑treatment services per year. • Manage rodent control, insect light traps, humane vertebrate removal, drain treatments, and annual perimeter pesticide applications, with full documentation and compliance reporting.
