Clinical Coordinating Center for Multi-Site Investigator-Initiated Clinical Trials (Collaborative UG3/UH3 Clinical Trial Required)

This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) supports applications to develop and conduct a Clinical Coordinating Center (CCC) for investigator-initiated multi-site clinical trials, including efficacy, comparative effectiveness, pragmatic, and/or implementation research clinical trials. The CCC will work in parallel with a companion Data Coordinating Center. The objective of the CCC application is to present the scientific rationale for the clinical trial and a comprehensive scientific and operational plan that describes it. Key aspects of the job include project management, subject recruitment and retention, performance milestones, scientific conduct of the trial, and dissemination of results. • The CCC will be responsible for the overall coordination of the clinical trial. • The CCC will work closely with the Data Coordinating Center to ensure the integrity and quality of the data. • The CCC will be responsible for the development and implementation of the study protocol. • The CCC will be responsible for the recruitment and retention of study participants. • The CCC will be responsible for the collection and management of study data. • The CCC will be responsible for the dissemination of study results.
