Housing and Innovation Hub

The Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) is seeking qualified firms to provide Architecture and Engineering (A/E) services for a new Graduate Student Apartment Housing and First Floor Innovation Hub facility. The project will be located on the Rootstown campus, and the selected firm will be responsible for programming, design, and construction administration services. The facility will include a first-floor innovation hub and four floors of apartment housing for graduate students. The project will be delivered using the Construction Manager at Risk method, and the selected firm will be required to participate in the Encouraging Diversity, Growth & Equity (EDGE) program. Key aspects of the project include: • Experience with student apartment housing design in higher education settings • Experience with architectural design and planning in higher education settings • Experience with Construction Manager at Risk delivery method • Ability to design project scope within budget in current market conditions • Experience relating to planning, scheduling, and budget challenges and successes in Northeast Ohio winter weather conditions
