Professional Auditor Services

The City of Hiram, Georgia is seeking a certified public accounting firm to provide professional auditing services for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, with the option of annual renewals for up to five years. The selected firm will conduct an independent audit of the City’s financial statements in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and applicable state and federal regulations. The firm will be expected to perform services including conducting an annual audit, preparing and submitting the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, and providing guidance on accounting and compliance matters. • The firm must be a licensed CPA firm in the State of Georgia. • The firm must have demonstrated experience auditing Georgia municipalities of similar size and complexity. • The firm must have no record of disciplinary action or unresolved professional complaints. • The firm must be familiar with governmental accounting standards and federal/state grant compliance.
