Repair and replacement of existing MTS lab Equipment

NASA Langley Research Center requires a contractor to rebuild and remanufacture hydraulic test stand components (actuators, cylinders, and manifolds) for two MTS laboratory test stands that are currently inoperable. The work includes grinding and resurfacing piston rods, replacing or refurbishing end‑cap bearings, installing new seals, checking clearances, pressure testing, and delivering the refurbished assemblies to a specified shipping address. The solicitation explicitly requests only capability statements—no price quotes will be evaluated. • Rebuild two actuators (Model 204.81) and two hydraulic service manifolds (Model 294.12) per detailed part lists. • Remanufacture two cylinder assemblies (Model 244.22) with upgraded seals and “Tempo Ready” modifications. • Provide all necessary parts (seal kits, accumulators, valves, fittings, etc.) and perform functional verification. • Deliver completed assemblies to NASA Langley’s Mail Stop 188E, Hampton, VA. • Contractor must submit a capability statement demonstrating experience with hydraulic test‑stand refurbishment, precision machining, and aerospace‑grade quality standards.
