260134 Breast and Cervical Cancer Screenings

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health is seeking qualified applicants to provide breast and cervical cancer screenings and diagnostic services to low-income and uninsured or underinsured individuals. The goal of this program is to increase access to these services and provide timely follow-up clinical services to program-eligible clients. The program is a statewide initiative and will reimburse providers for services rendered. The contract is expected to start on November 15, 2024, and will run through June 30, 2034. • The program will provide reimbursement for screenings and diagnostic services. • Providers must be able to provide patients with mammograms, either onsite or through an external referral. • Data reporting is required for both clinical breast exams and mammograms. • The program is open to providers who can conduct cervical screenings and diagnostics on-site, as well as those who can conduct clinical breast exams and refer out for mammography. • The average patient volume varies depending on the month, clinic, and cancer type, with an average of 30 people enrolled in the program per month.
