Food Service Management

The Minnesota State is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Dining Services Program Management at Southwest Minnesota State University (SMSU). The successful supplier will be responsible for providing residential dining services, retail dining services, catering/hospitality services, summer conferences/camps, and provision of alcohol service as required. The contract term is expected to be seven years, with an option to extend for an additional three years. The supplier will be required to meet all the terms and conditions of the Minnesota State Services Contract template. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing high-quality food services that meet the needs of the university community • Developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing plan to promote the dining services program • Ensuring that all food services are provided in a safe and healthy environment • Collaborating with university stakeholders to ensure a seamless customer experience • Providing catering and hospitality services for university events • Ensuring that all services are provided in a cost-effective manner.
