Water Rehabilitation Project No. 3

The City of Folsom is seeking a qualified contractor to install or replace approximately 2,700 linear feet of water distribution piping, associated appurtenances, water meters, backflow preventers, and related civil sitework throughout the city. Scope includes grading, building modifications at the Water Treatment Plant, and asphalt‑concrete pavement replacement where required. The work must comply with City of Folsom Standard Construction Specifications, AWWA standards, and include full responsibility for site safety, traffic control, utility coordination, and environmental compliance (SWPPP/WPCP). Bids are to be submitted in sealed paper form by 10:00 AM on Oct 23, 2026. A non‑mandatory pre‑bid conference will be held on Oct 1, 2026 at 10:00 AM in the City Council Chambers. • Replace/rehabilitate ~2,700 ft of water main (ductile‑iron, double‑wrapped) • Install new valves, backflow assemblies, and water meters • Perform civil work: grading, trench backfill, pavement removal & replacement, curb & gutter repair • Coordinate with City utilities, USA “One‑Call”, and obtain encroachment permits • Provide traffic‑control plan, noise mitigation, and SWPPP/WPCP compliance • Deliver as‑built documentation, photos, and final testing/commissioning.
