26-094 RFP Annual Audit of ACFR and A-133 Single Audit

St. Charles County, Missouri is seeking proposals for an annual audit of the County's Annual Comprehensive Financial Report and A-133 Single Audit for the fiscal years ending December 31, 2026, 2027, and 2028. The County has the option to renew for two additional audits for fiscal years ending December 31, 2029, and 2030. The audit firm will be responsible for conducting the audit in accordance with generally accepted government auditing standards and preparing the A-133 Single Audit report. The County is looking for a firm with experience in auditing local governments and preparing Annual Comprehensive Financial Reports. Key points to consider: • The County has received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association for the past thirty years. • The audit firm will be required to prepare the A-133 Single Audit report and file it with the Federal Agency Clearinghouse. • The County will provide an adequate work area for the auditing staff and make county staff available to answer questions and provide consultation as needed. • The audit firm must maintain the necessary insurance coverage, including worker's compensation, automobile, general liability, and professional liability. • The County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive technicalities.
