Medical Case Reviewer Services for the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP)/ Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program (CICP).

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is seeking medical case reviewer services for the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP) and the Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program (CICP). The contractor will provide medical-expert services and medical reviewer/case management support for the litigation process, including the defense of petitions filed against the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS). The services will be provided on a firm-fixed price basis, with hourly rates ranging from $125 to $375 per hour, depending on the qualifications and expertise of the reviewer. The contract will be for a period of 12 months, with the option for renewal. • The contractor will be required to provide medical case reviews and evaluations for injury compensation claims. • The contractor will be required to have expertise in one or more of the following fields: Allergy, Autonomic Disorders, Bioinformatics, Cardiology, Dermatology, Developmental Medicine, Endocrinology, Epidemiology, Family Practice, Gastroenterology, General Pediatrics, Genetics, Gynecology, Hematology, Immunology, Infectious Disease, Internal Medicine, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Metabolic Disorders, Mitochondrial Disorders, Neonatology, Nephrology, Neuroimmunology, Neurology, Neuro-ophthalmology, Neuropathology, Neuropsychology, Neuroradiology, Obstetrics, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Otolaryngology, Pathology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pulmonology, Psychiatry, Radiology, Rheumatology, Sleep Disorders, Toxicology, and Vaccinology. • The contractor will be required to have a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a physician from a state within the United States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or other territory of the United States. • The contractor will be required to have a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from a medical school in the United States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or other territory of the United States or an equivalent degree from a foreign medical or osteopathic school that provides education and medical knowledge equivalent to accredited schools in the United States.
