Sources Sought- Peterbilt Semi Tractor Retrofit

The Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) is seeking sources for the retrofit of a Peterbilt semi-tractor. The purpose of this announcement is for market research to gain knowledge of potential qualified vendors interested and capable of providing the necessary original equipment manufacturer (OEM) replacement parts and services. Interested vendors are requested to provide information on their business size and point of contact. The Government is not obligated to pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this Sources Sought synopsis request. • The retrofit involves replacing a 30,000 lb pintle hitch with a robust 45,000 lb pintle hitch. • Vendors must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. • Responses must be submitted by electronic delivery to [email protected] with the subject line "SOURCES SOUGHT-26WA158230" by May 08, 2026, 5:00pm ET.
