The County of Maui is seeking a security services provider to manage the Lahaina Historic District and surrounding areas. The provider will be responsible for opening and closing barricades, providing security personnel, and collaborating with emergency response teams. The contract will commence on March 2, 2026, and will continue through June 30, 2026, with the option to extend for up to four additional 3-month periods. The provider must have prior experience providing security services in the County of Maui and must comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Key responsibilities include: • Providing security personnel to manage the historic district and surrounding areas • Collaborating with emergency response teams and Park Maui ambassadors • Maintaining a written log of all activities and incidents • Reporting any observed suspicious activities or trespassing to the Maui Police Department and the State of Hawaii, Department of Land and Natural Resources Division of Conservation and Resources Enforcement • Providing assistance and information to the public relating to access, safe walking routes, and properties that are not open to the public
