Buffalo Lakeside Commerce Park – Lawn, Landscape & Snow Plowing Services (Re-Bid) Buffalo Urban Development Corporation (BUDC) is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide general maintenance, lawn care, landscaping, litter and bulk trash removal, and snow plowing services at Buffalo Lakeside Commerce Park, located along Ship Canal Parkway between Tifft Street and Commerce Drive in the City of Buffalo. The contract will cover the period of November 1, 2026 through October 31, 2027. The work includes maintenance of Buffalo Lakeside Commerce Park common areas, roadway rights-of-way, Union Ship Canal Commons, parking areas and designated sidewalks. Services include lawn mowing and trimming, landscaping and weed control, daily litter and debris removal, removal of illegally dumped materials and tires, maintenance of trash receptacles, seasonal cleanups, lawn and landscape repairs, and snow plowing and sidewalk clearing in designated areas.The RFP is divided into three service areas: Right-of-Way Lawn Maintenance, Ship Canal Commons Park Lawn Care and Maintenance, and Snow Plowing Services. BUDC will consider proposals for individual service categories; however, BUDC prefers a single qualified contractor capable of providing all three service areas. A pre-submission site visit is available by appointment only. Proposals will be evaluated based on total price, relevant experience, proposal quality and completeness, equipment availability, ability to maintain the site to professional standards, City of Buffalo employment, minority and female workforce participation, and MWBE certification or participation.
