The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a vendor to lease a Siemens Magnetom Aera 1.5 T mobile MRI system to the VA Wilkes‑Barre Healthcare System for an approximate three‑month period, with an optional one‑month extension. The prime contractor must be an authorized Siemens OEM distributor/reseller, and the unit must be serviced exclusively by Siemens or a Siemens‑authorized service provider. The contract includes delivery, set‑up, training of VA technologists, ongoing maintenance, data‑transfer capabilities, and removal of the trailer at contract close.
