Adult Softball Umpires for Spring and Fall Leagues

The City of Norfolk is seeking a responsible vendor to provide umpires for adult softball spring and fall leagues. The contractor will be required to provide officials who are certified by their governing parent organization and knowledgeable in the sport of softball. The contractor will also be required to conduct a one-day free clinic covering rules and officiating for coaches, staff, and parents. The contract term is for five years, and the pricing will remain firm throughout the agreement term unless a written price adjustment request is submitted. The contractor will be required to maintain insurance coverage, including commercial general liability, worker's compensation, and professional liability insurance. * Key responsibilities include: * Providing officials for games * Conducting a one-day free clinic * Maintaining insurance coverage * Complying with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations * Providing complete and correct invoices for payment * Replacing any suspended officials at no additional cost to the City
