Fiber Infrastructure Consumables

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) is seeking to procure fiber infrastructure consumables, including fiber optic cables, connectors, splices, patch cords, protective sleeves, and associated installation materials. These materials are required for the maintenance, repair, and sustainment of the facilities' day-to-day needs. The procurement will be made on a firm fixed-price basis, and the order will be issued using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The offeror must be an authorized reseller or distributor of the brand-name item(s) quoted and must provide documentation from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) confirming this. Some key points to consider are: • The procurement is for commercial items or services prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12 using the publicizing requirements of FAR Part 5. • The offeror must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award. • The quotation must include all costs associated with the requirement, including shipping and freight to Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114, as well as any tariff or duty charges. • The Government will utilize a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable basis for award. • The offeror shall provide documentation from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) confirming the offeror is an authorized reseller or distributor of the brand-name item(s) quoted.
