SOLE SOURCE - EXPLOSIVES

The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for Explosive, Plastic-Bonded, Pressed (PBXN-5) energetic. The proposed contract action is for the supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, BAE Systems Ordnance, Inc. under the authority of FAR 13.101(b). The contract will be for a firm fixed price. The delivery period is expected to be around 1 year. • The contractor shall provide Polymer Bonded Explosive (PBXN-5) energetic manufactured in accordance with MIL-DTL-81111, Type I, Class 3. • The contractor shall provide Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs) A001 through A003. • The contractor shall deliver the supplies to NSWC Crane, Indiana. • The contractor shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to hazardous materials and cybersecurity.
