RFP- Crane Rail Removal and Dock repair

The Port of Fernandina is seeking proposals to rehabilitate dock surfaces and improve safety for truck traffic. The work includes the removal of an abandoned crane rail that extends approximately 1,000 linear feet along the dock, back‑filling the rail trench with concrete, and modifying the north dock ramp transition to provide a smoother, safer angle for trucks entering and exiting the dock. This project aims to restore functional dock infrastructure and enhance operational safety. • Remove ~1,000 ft of abandoned crane rail from dock surface. • Fill the removed rail trench with concrete infill to restore structural integrity. • Re‑configure the north dock ramp transition for improved truck ingress/egress angles. • Deliver complete, compliant construction documentation and warranty as required.
