The Port of Portland is seeking an on‑call contractor to provide comprehensive office furniture relocation, assembly, disassembly, moving, and handyman services across all Port facilities, including the Portland International Airport. The contract is structured as a series of task‑orders (up to $250,000 each) over a base five‑year period with possible one‑year extensions, allowing the Port to call on the vendor as needs arise. The vendor must be licensed, insured, able to work evenings, weekends, and overnight, and comply with airport security protocols and Oregon construction licensing requirements.
• Move, assemble, disassemble, and relocate a wide variety of office furniture (modular systems, desks, chairs, cabinets, break‑room equipment, etc.) and perform general handyman repairs.
• Provide rapid response (within 24 hours for urgent requests) and maintain capability to staff moves involving 50‑200 personnel with appropriate equipment and locking totes.
• Meet certification requirements for Knoll and Haworth furniture systems, hold a valid Oregon CCB license, and satisfy insurance limits (≥ $1 M general liability, higher for airport vehicle use).
